Danvers

Danvers is a vibrant community with something for everyone - well developed, tree lined neighborhoods, boating along the Danvers River, Endicott Park’s 165 acres of breathtaking recreational land and access to the best shopping on the North Shore. Danvers enjoys newer high and middle schools and is home to St. John's Preparatory School, which boasts a great history of producing sports elite, including Pete Frates, co-founder of the Ice Bucket Challenge. Originally an agricultural town, Danvers farmers developed the Danvers Onion (origin of the "Oniontown" nickname) and has proudly produced several Olympians, including Meghan Duggan (Hockey) and Jenny Thompson (Swimmer).
